Initially recognized for his haunting short film ‘Sore Throat’, filmmaker and sound artist Jayden Barber has expanded his experimental ambient compositions beyond the boundaries of film scoring to the setting of live shows, inspired by artists of the avant-garde electronic world such as Tim Hecker, William Basinski, and Stars of the Lid. Barber presents his debut project, ‘Arabian Night Lights’ - a double album of dissociative hallucinations, meditative drones, and cleansing walls of visceral euphoria.
